The Group

Since 2004, FGRE’s Environment Health & Safety function designs, coordinates and drafts the Group Environmental Report through the systematic management of environmental data and a consolidated reporting system that allows the publication and certification of four editions of the Environmental Report.

All this forms a solid basis for the development of the Sustainability Report. It has also allowed Finmeccanica to begin the process for inclusion in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, as well as being able to reply to the Carbon Disclosure Project questionnaire concerning Climate Change.

Coherent with the provisions of the Finmeccanica Group Environmental Policy, FGRE’s Environment Health & Safety function carries out Analysis, Audits, Due Diligence and Consulting both for achieving the objectives stated in the Sustainability Report and for strategic Group projects.

Lastly, the design and creation of “Risk Gate” was extremely significant.  It is a tool for evaluating the environmental risks of Group sites and the support supplied to Finmeccanica and Group Companies in the study of the evolution of environmental and Worker Health and Safety regulations, and in the coordination of the related application of these regulations.
