 Alenia Aermacchi is at the cutting edge in the production of military and civil aircraft, next-generation UAVs and aerostructures for civil and military aircraft, as well as the conversion and updating of aircraft for the world’s leading producers. 

Alenia Aermacchi has a leading global position in the development and production of trainer aircraft and related ground support services. Alenia Aermacchi also has a 50% stake in joint venture ATR (with EADS holding the other half), the world leader in regional turboprop aircraft, while through its 51% share of the SuperJet International joint venture (the other 49% is held by SCAC-Sukhoi Civil Aircraft Corporation), it is active in the regional jet sector.
