FATA S.p.A. is a diversified company operating in the field of industrial plant engineering and construction.

It was established in Turin in 1936. Finmeccanica S.p.A. is its sole shareholder since 2004.

Today FATA is responsible for the strategic and coordinating activities of its various divisions in the following sectors:

• Engineering of plants for the production of primary and secondary aluminium, implementation of complete plants and single equipment for the aluminium rolling and processing industry as well as the steel and stainless steel processing industry
• Power generation plants
• Integrated logistics systems.
