Selex Galileo

SLSTR is a new generation IR radiometer which measures the temperature of land and sea with an on-ground resolution of 0.5 to1Km and an accuracy of 0.2°K. 

It is also equipped with channels in the visible spectrum for vegetation mapping and SWIR channels to supply data to correct the atmospheric parameters. 

Developed for ESA, SLSTR is devoted to operational oceanographic and land services for the GMES Sentinel 3 mission.
