Selex ES

Selex ES designs solar panels for micro and small satellites and deployable solar arrays for small satellites. 

The design is based on single and multi-junction solar cells. Selex ES is providing PVA based on triple-junctions cells for ESA’s Hershell and Planck observatories, Italian COSMO SKYMED and a commercial LEO mission.

The solar panels are used in the scientific missions ROSETTA, PROBA, HERSHEL & PLANCK, the LISA Pathfinder, the ATV Solar Array and GAIA, as well as the mission Pleiades.
