Integrated system to monitor logical access to the information system

ID-Pocket was developed to enable logical access to information systems using encoded smart cards and biometric recognition of its holder. The device also makes it possible to sign a 'digital electronic signature' on documents and/or e-mail messages, as well as the Smart-Card Logon within the network, for all terminals linked at the Enterprise Network level. The device also enables the signing-up of new system users, by storing biometric data within the smart cards. The systems will be furnished with the software libraries needed to develop the required functions. The ID-Pocket device integrates a capacitive-type fingerprint reader manufactured by ST Microelectronics with suitable ÒcustomÓ electronics manufactured by Elsag.
