RAN 40L is an advanced D-band, fully Solid State Phased Array, 3D Air Surveillance Radar that ensures instrumental detection of aircraft up to 400 Km in range and up to 30 Km in height.

RAN 40L is the new state-of-the-art radar system, designed to operate in modern complex naval combat defence systems, providing plots and tracks data for Tactical Picture Compilation and for Air Traffic Control support.
