The Computer Based Interlocking (CBI) System is a vital system to implement route control, interlocking and clearing functions with exceptionally high reliability. 
 
CBI also performs automatic diagnostics, operator assistance and data logging functions to improve the operating efficiency of both signalling operators and maintenance engineers.
 
CBI safety logic can be configured to match it to different signalling contexts including: large and medium sized mainline stations; marshalling yards and multipurpose terminals; Railway lines with small and medium sized stations, automatic or axle-counting block, grade crossings, metro lines, etc.
