Lander - BredaMenarinibus | |
The Lander bus stands out for the external styling which reflects the
brand's image and is immediately recognizable as an integral part of the new
styling for the product line. The style and attention to detail are strong
points which distinguish these vehicles in a particularly crowded sector where
it is more and more difficult to put forward new ideas.
The new Lander is 12.2 metres long and has one of the most modern engines
available: the MAN D2066 LUH23 turbocharged intercooler, 10.5 litres, which
uses the EGR-PMKat system to cut down exhaust emissions. No fuel additives are
required and this simplifies operation on the suburban and extra-urban routes
for which these buses are designed.
The driver's cabin meets ISO-VDV ergonomic standards, making the bus easy to
handle, improving comfort, visibility and safety, and also enabling customers
who already use BredaMenarinibus city buses to acquire familiarity easily.
Technical specifications include disc brakes on both axles with ABS,
independent suspension on all wheels, multiplex electrical system, as well as
the possibility of installing a wheelchair lifter.
With this new vehicle, BredaMenarinibus intends to boost the image of solidity,
style and comfort which have always distinguished the "Menarini" brand
on the bus and coach market since the 1980s, while at the same time meeting the
needs of TPL companies with a full range of products, no longer restricted to
Class 1 vehicles.
