The vehicles of the 9000 and 7000 series offer high quality levels and are able to meet the growing demand for mobility. Each train can transport a total of 1260 passengers.

Designed by Pininfarina with clear and defined lines to increase its aerodynamic efficiency. During the planning phase, attention was focused on two issues: passenger safety, thanks to advanced fire detection systems, and access for the disabled, provided by access ramps and acoustic/optic signalling systems in line with the doors.

ANSALDOBREDA produced 37 7000 series and 52 9000 series vehicles for the city of Madrid.
