Honoris Causa degree in management engineering for Pier Francesco Guarguaglini | |

On Monday 22 January 2007, the Chairman-CEO, Pier Francesco Guargaglini,
received an Honoris Causa degree in management engineering from the University
of Genoa at a ceremony conducted by the rector, professor Gaetano Bignardi, and
the dean of the engineering faculty, professor Gianni Vernazza.
Following the award ceremony Mr Guarguaglini gave a speech, lectio magistralis,
to the assembled audience, entitled "Managing the future".
One of the points he made during the lecture was: "We have to keep our
roots alive so as not to lose our identity."
