Finmeccanica Energy Day, to be held on 27 October 2008, will focus on ways
of saving energy, and will involve all employees as well as managers and site
operators at Finmeccanica offices and plants.

Finmeccanica and Alenia Aeronautica International Convention

"The era of complex markets - conditions for growth in defence and
high-tech industries".
On September 12-13, an international convention entitled "The era of
complex markets - conditions for growth in defence and high-tech
industries" is being held at the "Venaria Reale" ex-royal palace
near Turin. The conference has been organized by Finmeccanica and Alenia
Aeronautica in collaboration with ASD (Aerospace & Defence Industries
Association of Europe) and AIAD (Association of Industries for Aerospace and
Defence Systems).

Opening of the Photographic Exhibition "A Legacy to the
Future"

The first photo is of a ship launching - very appropriate for an exhibition
that will weigh anchor from Genoa for a long series of stops, in Italy and
elsewhere. Thus opens A Legacy for the Future, the travelling photographic
exhibition organized by Finmeccanica to celebrate its sixtieth anniversary. The
launching in question was that of the Garibaldi, which took place at Sestri
Ponente, Genoa in 1899.

"Experience is Value" - "Seniores" and "Maestri del
Lavoro" awards, Finmeccanica 2008

Once again, the award ceremony for "Maestri del lavoro" and
"Seniores" with 35, 40 and 45 years of loyal service was an occasion to
celebrate the value of experience and to sincerely thank all those whose
unstinting efforts have helped to make Finmeccanica what it is today. This year
too, the ceremony was accompanied by a title - Experience is value - which has
become a hallmark expressing the deeper sense of this event.

Creates a New Leading Player in Defense Electronics with Balanced Global
Presence

Finmeccanica, S.p.A. (Milan: FNC), a world leader in the supply of
electronics equipment and defense and security systems and services, and DRS
Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: DRS), a leading supplier of integrated defense
electronics products, services and support, today announced that they have
signed a definitive merger agreement under which Finmeccanica will acquire 100%
of DRS stock for US$81 per share in cash. The transaction allows Finmeccanica
to consolidate its international role as a key supplier of integrated systems
for defense and security, entering the U.S. market as a key player. It further
allows DRS to seek new business opportunities in the U.S. and abroad.

 GIOVE-B, the second satellite of the Galileo navigation system, has been
launched.
The Fucino Space Centre of Telespazio has managed the launch and early
orbit phase and control of the satellite.

Finmeccanica, with Telespazio, Thales Alenia Space and
SELEX GALILEO, is playing a leading role in the development of Europe's
most important space programme.
GIOVE-B has been launched at 00.16 CET on 27 April from the Baikonur base in
Kazakhstan. It is the second experimental satellite of the Galileo
constellation, the satellite navigation and localisation programme of the
European Space Agency and the European Union.

Our 60th anniversary opens with music

In the dynamic equilibrium between history and the future
that defines the way Finmeccanica has chosen to celebrate it 60th anniversary,
it can happen that history - and emotions - dominate at times.
So it was, yesterday evening, in Rome's glittering "Auditorium della
Conciliazione" where a concert opened Finmeccanica's celebrations for its
anniversary, in the presence of the President of the Italy, Giorgio
Napolitano.

In brief, this is the meaning Finmeccanica is giving to its sixtieth
anniversary. Starting in March 2008, the entire Group has the opportunity
to look back in order to look ahead, to gain strength from its heritage in

awareness of the role played up to now, and the will - nourished by pride in

NEW ASSEMBLY LINE FOR THE AW139 INAGURATED IN FILADELFIA
Philadelphia, 19 February 2008
Finmeccanica inaugurated its new AgustaWestland facility in Philadelphia,
where the medium twin-engine AW139 helicopter will be assembled and where the
assembly line for the single-engine AW119 Ke is already active. The
Philadelphia plant covers an area of 10,000 sq m and comes in addition to the
existing one in Vergiate, near Varese in Italy.

Raikkonen and Massa fly on a C-27J

World champion Ferrari drivers, Kimi Raikkonen and Felipe
Massa, took a flight yesterday on one of our C-27Js. They did so in order
to attend the inauguration of the photo exhibition "An Extraordinary Life.
The Avvocato's Century", now at Turin's cinema museum until March 16.

MindSh@re Event 2008
Rome, 5 - 6 February 2008
After the success of the first edition in November 2006, the second
MindSh@re Event, involving all the Communities forming part of the Finmeccanica
project, was held on February 5-6 in Rome at Palazzo Salviati, the prestigious
headquarters of the Advanced Defence Studies Centre.
