Finmeccanica amongst finalists for Balance Sheet Oscar 2008 Rome, 6 November 2008 Finmeccanica - Italy's leading high-tech industrial group and one of the

Third Cosmo-SkyMed Satellite Launched Vandenberg, 24 October 2008 The third satellite in the Earth Observation constellation,
COSMO-SkyMed, lifted off at 7:28 pm local time today from the
Vandenberg Air Force base in California, on a Boeing Delta II
rocket . "This launch is a new, fundamental step to the completion of a system
which puts us at the leading edge in the world" commented the Commissioner
of the Italian Space Agency Enrico Saggese. "With three satellites in
orbit, and the fourth to be launched soon, Cosmo-SkyMed can offer
Earth-observation services and products that would be unthinkable for a single
satellite. ASI is working to ensure a long continuation of the programme, with
a new generation of satellites already being studied".

First C-27J delivered to the US Armed Forces in Waco, Texas Waco, 15 October 2008 Finmeccanica, its subsidiaries Alenia Aeronautica and Alenia North America,
and its US partner L-3 have delivered the first of the 78 C-27Js Spartan
ordered last year within the Joint Cargo Aircraft (JCA) programme, the joint US
Army and Air Force programme for a tactical transport aircraft. The plane was
delivered today in Waco, Texas to the United States' Armed Forces.

L-3 Presents First Joint Cargo Aircraft to U.S. Army and Air Force 25 September 2008 The 25th of september L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL), prime contractor for
the U.S. Army and Air Force Joint Cargo Aircraft (JCA) program, announced that
it has presented the first C-27J JCA to the joint program office on schedule
and on budget. The aircraft is the first of 78 planned to be delivered to the
Department of Defense. The current contract is valued in excess of $2
billion.
