Finmeccanica gave a sparkling performance at MAKS 2005 in Moscow, with its companies Aermacchi, AgustaWestland, Alenia Aeronautica, Selex Sistemi Integrati, Selex Communications and with the joint ventures Selex Sensors and Airborne Systems and MBDA.

The Muscovite event, a prestigious international appointment for the key players in the aerospace industry, gave the Finmeccanica Group the chance for great visibility and to present its avant-garde aerospace products.

The helicopters on show were the Grand, AB139, A119 and A109.

Alenia Aeronautica displayed its ATR 42 and ATR 72 aircraft. Selex Communications presented its laser obstacle detection system, LOAM, and various other safe radiocommunications systems such as SRT 651, SRT 170, M 424, ANV 353, ANV 241 and ANV 801.

The radars on display were the RAT 31 and EMPAR models, and there was also a video on air traffic control systems.

The group's stand, which received the organiser's award for the best exhibition area, welcomed a stream of Italian and foreign institutional representatives.
