The LAAD (Latin America Aero & Defence) international exhibition and
conference, one of the most representative at the international level in terms
of aerospace and defence systems and technology in the Latin American market,
took place last week in Brazil.
The event was held in Rio de Janeiro, at the Rio Centro, the largest
exhibition centre in Brazil. Finmeccanica participated with a stand comprising
282 m2, presenting and illustrating several of the key products of its
Companies, including: Agusta Westland, Alenia Aeronautica, Alenia Spazio, AMS,
Galileo Avionica, Selenia Communications, Telespazio and Wass.
As in the previous four editions, this year's event provided the best
opportunities in the defence and aerospace sector for commercial contacts
among vendors of products and systems and their potential users.
The strong collaboration between ICE (National Institute for Foreign Trade)
and Finmeccanica was fundamental for this event, combining their forces to
further strengthen foreign economic and trade relationships.
