Finmeccanica together with the Group companies AgustaWestland, Alenia
Aermacchi, Alenia Aeronautica, Oto Melara, SELEX Sensors & Airborne Systems
and SELEX Integrated Systems, took part in the 2006 Defendory international
exhibition of air, sea, land and electronic defence systems, held in Athens
from October 3-7.
Now at its 14th edition, this exhibition has become one of the main calendar
events for the leading companies in the sector.
More than 2,700 exhibitors from 54 different countries took part in this
year's event, with more than 30,000 visitors including industrial and
institutional delegations.
The Finmeccanica companies presented a range of top level products in the
field of defence systems, including mock-ups of the NH 90 helicopter, the
C-27J, Eurofighter Typhoon, and M-346 aircraft, as well as the HITROLE
turrets, the Centaur vehicle, the SEASPRAY 7000E surveillance system, the
RAT31 DL radar, as part of the Group's overall display.
