Communications and SELEX Sistemi Integrati took part in EURONAVAL 2006 (October
23-27, 2006).
Considered to be the world's leading trade show for naval defence and
maritime safety, the event took place at Paris Le Bourget airport.
The Finmeccanica companies presented a range of top-level products in the
field of defence systems, including biometrics, systems for electronic document
creation and physical/logical access control using personal identification
based on biometric features; ATOS, an advanced mission system, including
operator consoles and a wide range of sensors; the Personal Role Radio (PRR),
short-range simplex radio system enhancing the operational effectiveness and
flexibility of front line soldiers, as well as the state-of-the-art
multifunction radar EMPAR and more.
The official opening ceremony was held by Mrs Michèle Alliot-Marie, French
Minister of Defence, on October 25.
