In recent years Finmeccanica has embarked upon a process of rapid development, and by gradually focussing on the Aerospace, Defence and Security core business and on the internationalisation of its business, it has assumed and consolidated its role as a leading player in the hi-tech business on a global level.

Over the next few years the Group aims to maintain and reinforce its competitive role in international markets, ensuring the continuity of its successes and managing the growing complexity of the environment. To face this challenge the company needs People who know how to get involved, interact in international situations and stay at the forefront in their jobs. 

The Central Human Resources Function aims to acts as a Business Partner and help the Finmeccanica Group achieve the following strategic objectives by promoting People and Intellectual Capital:

  • Integration and Internationalisation of the identity, the market and the business

  • Technological innovation excellence, in order to be competitive on the international markets

  • Value creation for all stakeholders

  • Customer orientation, in order to guarantee integrated and innovative solutions.

Finmeccanica has an integrated human resource management, training and development system that meets the strategic and business targets, and has the following objectives:

  • To contribute to the creation of a strong Group Identity, that complies with the Drivers rooted in the Companies´ Identity and brings them in line with the strategic drivers of change.

  • To attract and retain the best international talent, recognise excellence within the various Group entities and invest in it by developing competencies, talent, experience and employability. Its ultimate goal is to achieve concrete, acknowledged excellence.

  • To intensify international relations with Universities and Research Centres and develop an Industrial Culture capable of supporting plans for change and to integrate the personal creativity and high technology that characterise our Companies into a well-structured set of highly efficient processes and methodologies.

  • To guarantee an advanced Industrial Relations system able to support business development and performance.
